Our Group promotes regional revitalization through the provision of management resources such as a network with the regional financial institutions, electricity charging infrastructure, and renewable energy at the "machi-no eki (roadside stations)," in addition to the diffusion of systems that produces recyclable fuel towards local governments, development of land and construction of housing in the regions.

Amid frequent natural disasters due to climate change caused by global warming, SBI Smart Energy plans and develops power plants utilizing natural energy sources such as solar power, small-scale hydropower, and biomass to realize a sustainable and decarbonized society.
SBI Smart Energy is promoting the diffusion of "solar sharing" (farming-style solar power generation), in which abandoned farmland is used to generate solar power while continuing to farm, thereby contributing to the promotion of agriculture and regional revitalization through power generation business. In addition, SBI Smart Energy have concluded disaster prevention agreements with local governments and have introduced a system to supply electricity from power plants to the community in the event of power outages due to disasters, etc., thereby contributing to strengthening the resilience of the local communities.
