

Since its establishment as Japan's first mortgage bank*1 in 2001, SBI Mortgage has offered services including the industry’s bottom level "All term fixed-rate housing loan".
The services are used by a large number of customers. The housing loans outstanding is over 310.8 billion yen*2 as of the end of June 2007.
While we have performed operations mainly in Internet-based direct sales so far, we are going to focus on expansion of real channels such as deployment of housing loan shops and plan to open SBI Housing Loan shops in major cities across the nation. Deployment of real shops will provide real consulting services not sufficient in the Internet-based services and wide range of services including application and contract procedures on a face-to-face basis.
