Systems Development Support for the SBI Group

SBI Trade Win Tech

Advances in new financial services, including mobile finance, have become a trend across the world, including in developing countries, with the spread of the Internet and the progress of technologies using Internet-based applications. Those new financial services are commonly referred to as FinTech. FinTech is continuing to evolve into the FinTech 1.5 and FinTech 2.0 phases by adopting new technologies, including AI and blockchain. Due to various technological innovations brought about by the Internet, financial services have reached a major turning point from an era in which evolution was driven by financial institutions to an era of user-driven evolution.

In such an environment, SBI Trade Win Tech, since its establishment in 2000, has been planning, implementing and operating financial system solutions, centered on securities trading systems and derivatives trading systems, including FX trading systems, in Japan and overseas. The company has a proven track record of implementing various applications, such as COMET (an in-house developed securities front office system package) and FLARE (a securities back office system package), which led the company to join the SBI Group in 2007. SBI Trade Win Tech has subsequently been engaged deeply in developing, operating and maintaining systems for non-securities companies of the SBI Group.

SBI Trade Win Tech has implemented solutions using the latest technologies, including AI, blockchain, and cryptocurrency, toward building a FinTech ecosystem, while strengthening collaborations with Group companies. In addition, the company is building organizational frameworks in various sectors, such as construction of infrastructure and operation and maintenance of network and server systems.
To provide services, through collaborations with FinTech companies outside the Group, the company proposes operational efficiency improvements using robotics process automation (RPA) through business alliances. In addition, it is making various preparations to provide solutions that meet the future needs of customers, such as providing international remittance solutions using distributed ledger technology (DLT), demonstration tests for handwritten character recognition technology, and demonstration tests for biometric authentication using smartphones.

Combining experience and expertise developed since the company was established, and by adopting new technologies, SBI Trade Win Tech is committed to providing low-cost financial services that are convenient for everybody.
