The media division operates Searchina, one of Japan’s largest portal website of information on China. Entry into the “Middle Media” market, that doesn’t limit to Chinese information, in 2008 has enhanced our media strength, resulting in about 11 million unique users (*1) per month. The finance division provides with Chinese stock information including share prices, market conditions, corporate data, stocks and economic news of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen markets. The research division provides Japanese businesses expanding their activities in China with marketing and research services through Searchina (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a think tank specializing in research on China with a network of 500 thousand Chinese monitors (*1).
SBI Searnina will put its energies into creating a door to Asia through an information gateway, and at the same time capitalize on its Internet technology to make a vigorous push in setting up portals and other media that can contribute to the SBI Group.
