Wall Street Journal Japan

Japanese Version of the Wall Street Journal, Financial-Economic Paper with the Largest Circulation in the U.S. With the rapid progress of globalization, Japanese business people are required to understand exactly what is going on in the world and see the world from a global viewpoint. In December 2009, we opened a Japanese version of the Wall Street Journal website. Among high quality articles collected by some 2,000 journalists and editors worldwide, we every day carefully select, translate them into Japanese and edit and release them on the news website. We have a rich variety of news category lineup, from lifestyle-related articles to financial and business analysis from a global viewpoint and contributed articles from one of the greatest opinion leaders in the world.

For 120 long years since the first publication in 1889, the Wall Street Journal has been supported by readers worldwide, mostly business leaders. The financial-economic paper boasts the largest circulation in the U.S.* and is a 33 times winner of the Pulitzer Prize, the most prestigious U.S. award for excellent journalism, literature, and music works.

Based on the high reliability proved by the Wall Street Journal´s long history and its great achievements, we timely provide Japanese readers with precise analysis and insightful comments translated and edited from our own viewpoints.
