住信SBIネット銀行株式会社(本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：田中嘉一、以下「住信SBIネット銀行」という)は、アジア地域の銀行専門誌「The Asian Banker」が主催する「The Asian Banker Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2009（リテール金融サービス表彰2009）」において、「Best Internet-only Bank Award（最優秀インターネット専業銀行賞）」を受賞いたしました。

住信SBIネット銀行は2008年の最優秀インターネット専業銀行賞を受賞されました。（中略）
同社は、43億ドルの預金量を開業からおよそ11ヵ月で達成し、これは同業他社が同期間（開業から11ヵ月間）に獲得した預金量を上回るものです。2008年度の第1四半期から第3四半期までの9ヵ月間においては8,000万ドルの経常収益を達成し、同社の業績は2010年3月期の黒字化に向けて好調に推移しております。

This bank attained $4.3 billion of deposits only after 11 months of the inception of the business, acquiring more deposits than most of its peers in a similar period.
