SBI Mainichi Art Holdings

Working to Grow and Expand the Art Market to Realize a Culturally Rich Society Where Art is Part of Everyday Life

SBI Mainichi Art Holdings is a joint holding company of SBI Art Auction and Mainichi Auction of the Mynavi Group, both of which operate an art auction business.
SBI Art Auction handles a wide range of contemporary art works, including photographs and crafts, with a focus on contemporary art from the 20th century onward. SBI Art Auction is the most international auctioneer in Japan, with participants from more than 60 countries, and overseas customers accounting for approximately 50% of the total amount of successful bids (in 2024).
Mynavi began importing and selling art when it was founded in 1973, and entered the art auction field in 1989 by holding Japan's first Western-style public auction of art works. Mainichi Auction has grown into a comprehensive auction house handling a wide range of genres, including antiques, jewelry, and watches, in addition to domestic and overseas paintings, prints, and sculptures.
With the transition to a joint holding company structure, both companies will aim for further global growth by leveraging their respective strengths and uniqueness.

Through its art auction business, SBI Mainichi Art Holdings is committed to contributing to the expansion of the art industry and the enrichment of daily life by conveying to as many people as possible the wonder of art and the joy of owning art.
