FOLIO, founded in December 2015, promotes AI investment with the mission of “Keep Innovating The Financial Industry.” The Company provides discretionary investment management services both for individuals and for financial institutions to promote barrier-free asset management and Digital Transformation (DX) of the asset management business. For individuals, the Company offers AI investment service “ROBOPRO,” which AI predicts market and dynamically changes the portfolio in line with the market trends.
For financial institutions, the Company provides a discretionary investment management platform “4RAP,” offering a one-stop solution of both “operational infrastructure system” and “investment products.” This is a SaaS-type (Software as a Service) system that can be implemented by various financial institutions, enabling them to provide discretionary investment products under their own brand while maintaining their own customer accounts and deposit balances. For instance, the Company and SBI SECURITIES have been offering “SBI Wrap” as a service introducing 4RAP since March 2022. “SBI Wrap” has been well received by the customers with AUM reaching JPY 50 billion in just over a year and four months since the service was launched.
Moreover, FOLIO has completed registration as an “Investment Advisory and Agency Business” in September 2023, which enabled the Company to align with asset management companies and investment banks to create new investment management services. The Company will continue to create new services in addition to the discretionary investment management services through ROBOPRO and 4RAP, and drive innovation that will become a foundation of the finance of the future.
